HOW TO TASTE OUR HONEY CORRECTLY
For a correct preservation of our product, never put your spoon, previously placed in your mouth, back in the jar to take more honey.
The spoon, once brought into your mouth, is contaminated with your saliva and alters significantly the product, possibly causing food poisoning in the most serious cases.
Consequently, as a general rule it is highly inadvisable to store honey in the fridge as, being a humid environment, it alters the product.

Description
Mountain Wildflower honey is a variation of the classic Wildflower honey traditionally harvested in our hilly area and is produced with the variegated blooms found in the Abruzzese Apennines, peculiar to the Mediterranean biodiversity.
The product presents a gentle but pronounced flavor and an aromatic scent; it initially has a fluid consistency that crystallizes over the months into a medium-compact mass, with a clearly distinguishable irregular granular structure.
Our Mountain Wildflower honey is rich in pollen and its color is generally light, varying from a creamy white to an ocher shade, depending on the blooms foraged by the bees.
All these properties make our Mountain Wildflower honey the perfect ingredient in your kitchen in different combinations: as an excellent cream-like honey spreadable on slices of bread or biscuits, as natural sweetener for drinks, especially hot ones such as teas and herbal teas, or as the main ingredient for the preparation of traditional local desserts, such as Cicerchiata.
Production area: Abruzzo.
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not feed to infants under one year old.
100% Product of Italy
The crystallization of Mountain Wildflower Honey represents a common factor that doesn’t damage the high quality standards of our honey.
The honey has not undergone any heat treatment for preservation, which can cause the natural formation of crystals. If you wish to have the product completely fluid again, heat it using the Bain-Marie method no more than 40°C.
